Sea Turtles and baby sea turtle releases have become a major attraction to our visitors in Sayulita. Many of our Olive Ridley Turtles who were born on Sayulita’s beaches return every year to build nests and lay their eggs to perpetuate their cycle of life. Our challenge for the hatchlings is their journey from sandy beach to the sea while avoiding predators including birds, iguanas and sorry to say local poachers. (by Odett Gordon)
