Its so hard to find that perfect vacation place, that as soon as we found it, we had to buy it — and share it with you! Condo Curiel is an airy, light-filled and peaceful 2 bedroom/2 bathroom respite within the quiet, well-maintained Perla del Mar — complete with gorgeous pool, fitness center, and a rooftop palapa with amazing views of the ocean and the mountains. This is also one of the few units at Perla del Mar that has nice views from the condo itself.

All of this is so well-situated in Zona Dorada — a few blocks from the best beach on the Bay of Banderas, less than a block from restaurants, convenience store, bank, pharmacy and taxi stand. But it is not a busy, downtown area either — downtown Bucerias is a 20-30 minute walk away, so you sleep well at night!

The condo itself has a fully equipped kitchen with an open concept layout allowing the gorgeous Mexican sunlight to bounce everywhere. In fact, most of the ‘walls’ to the outside are made of glass patio doors. There is a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a brand new king size bed (really two twins fitted together with a special connector and king size bedding — you can’t find king size mattresses in Mexico!) The second bedroom has two double beds. There is a second bathroom just outside this bedroom. All linens are newly bought and luxurious. Both bedrooms have lovely views and sliding glass patio doors that open to let the ocean breeze in. For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer in the condo itself.

There is a deck off of the dining room with an outside table and chairs — a great place to enjoy your morning coffee (yes, there is a coffeemaker) while gazing at the pool.

For lounging in the condo, we have a large (38′?) flat screen tv, DVD player, Star Satellite TV service (if you desire certain channels in particular, ask and we will try to accommodate), an mp3 player (uses Phillips Fidelio app, and wireless internet access (which can be a little slow).

And finally, a short 2 flights of stairs above Condo Curiel is a large patio with palapas and incredible views of the mountains and sea. Its a wonderful place to have dinner or watch the sunset.

The beach is a pleasant 5-10 minute walk away. What makes it the best in the Bay of Banderas? The grade is mild so you can walk along it comfortably for miles in either direction. The sand is the fine and golden kind that feels great under the feet. And the there are plenty of waves to play in but they aren’t too scary big. Don’t miss a chance to see the beautiful sun set behind the ocean. We provide you with beach towels, beach toys, and a rolling cart to take everything comfortably to and from the beach.

Hy husband and I used to rent places to stay from VRBO. We tried to include all the things we wished people had included (such as a cell phone for which you can buy minutes at the corner store), so if we didn’t mention something, just shoot us an email and ask! Maybe we already have it, or if we think its a good idea, maybe we will get it. We also have a wonderful local manager, Silvia, that can help make your stay comfortable while you are there. She would be happy to make arrangements for maid service or other services you may like.

Rates

Approximate Monthly rates, actual rate will depend on the days of the month you stay

Vacations over Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years Day or Easter are a minimum of 5 days and are $175 per night or $1050 per week.
Half within 60 days of date of vacation (or at time of booking, whichever is later) and the second half due the day before the trip begins.

10% tax will be charged over and above rate to go toward Mexican government tax of 20%.
